High-quality genome of a modern soybean cultivar and resequencing of 547 accessions provide insights into the role of structural variation
Introduction:
This study presents the assembly of a high-quality genome for the modern soybean cultivar Nongdadou 2 (NDD2) and the resequencing of 547 accessions to investigate the role of structural variations (SVs) in agronomic and seed quality traits. Multiple SVs associated with economically important traits were identified, providing new molecular targets for soybean genetic improvement.
