Targeted Resequencing
Targeted Resequencing allows researchers to extract sequence information from a specific region of interest. This could be either from protein coding regions of the genome (exome) using WES (Whole exome sequencing) or from a subset of genes or genomic region using TRS (Target Region sequencing).
Novogene’s Targeted Resequencing services, including Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) and Target Region Sequencing (TRS) are suitable for researchers interested in specific genomic regions, rather than the genome in entirety. Targeted Resequencing is a cost-effective alternative to whole genome sequencing by delivering higher coverage for regions of interest and aids in the identification of low-frequency variants.
